At DRIFT we're looking for a Office / Facility Manager to join our team.

Are you passionate about organizing, coordinating, and facilitating? DRIFT is seeking an enthusiastic Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager is the face and the heart of the studio. You are responsible for making sure everybody is happy doing their jobs, and they are able to thrive by supporting them with a smooth-running facility. Your main tasks are Office and Facility Management. Your role in the office team is to coordinate and support all matters concerning DRIFT Studio.

A Day in the Life of a Office Manager

As a Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our studio facilities with your main focus on general office tasks, including maintenance of the studio, equipment, and organizing events.

You will be:

  • Managing Studio Operations: Oversee daily studio operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule studio sessions, meetings, and events.

  • Relationship Management: You will be responsible for acknowledging client birthdays and anniversaries with congratulatory messages on behalf of the studio.

  • Handling Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, managing emails, maintaining records and submitting invoices for outgoing expenses.

  • Resource Management: Organize and maintain studio equipment, supplies, and inventory.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure the studio complies with health, safety, and legal regulations.

  • Client Hospitality: Ensure a welcoming environment for clients and guests, including arranging refreshments and maintaining cleanliness.

  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues with studio equipment and software.

We would love it if you have

What We're Looking For:

  • +5 years of experience in: Facility Management, Event Management, Project Management, Hotel and Hospitality

  • Effective problem-solving skills and a commitment to resolving issues efficiently.

  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in managing various tasks and addressing unexpected challenges, ensuring smooth studio operations under any circumstances.

  • Excellent in English and Dutch

  • A passion for organization and communication, preferably in an art and design environment.

  • Staying calm under pressure to keep things running smoothly.

  • Prioritizing like a pro to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Seeing the big picture and planning ahead to ensure everything aligns with our long-term goals.
